Will's first post!

Hello all just thought I'd make a small contribution to the blog.

Things are good here. Mike and me (predominantly Mike) have been doing some cooking, using the beef and chicken from grocery shopping. I am enjoying it here but, obviously, would rather have a desk and my own room. Its rather inconveniant going to the library to do any assignments. I really shouldn't be complaining. I recently went to the hotel and was not impressed. Probably because it was a 20min bus ride away and their room was a disaster. Looking forward to moving in on the 30th.

Schools going well, assignments starting to pick up but nothing out of hand. Me and Matt are pplaying ultimate and if things go to plan we should be playing on the same team. Other than that nothing really new to report of.

Just thought I'd point this out to Dad, but Mike, as a present, got a mobile notetaker. Here's a link to in: http://www.nexconcepts.com/products/mobile_notetaker/. Basically it is still in the packaging, but it looks pretty cool, and I might try and give it a try. Something maybe Carolyn would be interested in as well.

FYI I'm coming home next weekend. I'm penciled in to work Saturday and should be Sunday as well, when I create the new schedule.

Another Entry from Matt - RE: First Day of Classes

Hey Matt, try to post your updates via the Blog
Sent by Matt on Sept 14
anyways it was first day of classes today. i had 3 assignments due at the end of class in the first 3 hours, and those set squares came in very handy. the engineering metric scale didnt however becasue the scales we use now arent the same so unfortunately i had to buy one. i also spent 733 dollars on textbooks! which was totally brutal but liek you said it was an investment. ive been doing hmwk for most of the night but one of my tutorials got cancelled today so it was kinda short and my lecture tomorrow is also cancelled so i dont have to go to class till 1130. anywayss im feeling kind of sick right now and its only gettin worse it seems so im going to lie down. Say hi to the family  ......... Matt

Keeping in Touch

Started this Blog so that we can keep in touch without you having to send email. I will set you, Will and Matt as collaborators so that you can edit and post blog entries. For example, I am going to copy your recent email to me ....  I will send the blog address to Grammie and Grampie and Mom/family.

Hey Dad,

I guess you can relay this email on with the rest of the family. Yesterday some people were still moving in so everything was a little hectic. me kyle and jared met this really cool guy from london and he's even a big time snowboarder who went out west with his buddies. Anyways there was a bunch of activities going on yesterday night just really to help you get to meet people. Today we had to get up bright and early because we have engineering activities all day. Hope mom is coping well and tell carolyn congrats on getting done at 730! Wish everyone the best and see you Sunday
